Failure to pay Montana Child Support can result in suspension of driver's license

In a state as large as Montana, motor vehicle travel is often more of a necessity than a luxury.  The Montana Child Support Enforcement Division ("CSED") has the power to suspend your driver's license for failure to pay child support.  However, before suspending your driver's license, CSED must give you legally required notice, letting you know that your license is in danger of being suspended.  This notice will give you a deadline to respond and an opportunity to request a hearing.  When you get this notice, you should contact a Matrium Law Group attorney at (406) 552-7814, or at www.matriumlaw.com so that we can help you request a hearing in front of an Administrative Law Judge to try to protect you from losing your driver’s license.
